Coaching That Builds Confidence From the Inside Out

Your child already has incredible potential, they just need the right tools to see it themselves.

At Elevate Joyful Minds, I help them discover it through story-based life coaching that’s as fun and relatable as it is transformational.

Using the proven Adventures in Wisdom® curriculum, I guide children through powerful short stories and hands-on experiences that build the mindset skills they need to thrive — in school, at home, with friends, and within themselves.

This isn’t therapy or tutoring — it’s coaching that helps your child discover their own capabilities and become the leader of their own life.

Just like an athletic coach helps children develop the skills, confidence, and ability to thrive in their games, a life coach
for kids helps children develop the skills, confidence, and
ability to thrive in life.

Small Groups, Big Growth, and Real Connection

Group coaching offers children a fun and supportive space to learn alongside others — building both confidence and community. Each group explores one of the five Adventures in Wisdom® themes, using stories and engaging activities that spark reflection and inspire action.

Children discover that others face similar challenges — and that they are not alone. It’s a space to share, be heard, and grow together.

You can enroll your child in a scheduled group or gather their friends to form your own.

Perfect for: Kids who enjoy learning with peers, benefit from social interaction, and grow through shared experiences.

What a Typical Session Looks Like

Every session follows a proven flow that keeps kids engaged and learning:

Check-in: We review skills we’ve been working on and celebrate any moments when your child noticed their thoughts.
Story Time: We read a new Adventures in Wisdom story that introduces the next skill.
Make It Personal: Through discussion, your child connects the story to their own life and experiences.
Reinforce Through Activity: We do a fun, interactive activity that helps cement the new skill.
Practice at Home: Your child gets simple “homework” to practice their new skill throughout the week.

After each session, you’ll receive an email update about what we covered
and how you can support your child’s growth at home.

Common Challenges I Help Kids Overcome

Every child faces different challenges as they grow. Here are some of the most common situations where coaching can make a real difference:
Self-doubt & Low Confidence

Your child struggles with negative self-talk, avoids risks, or constantly questions their abilities.

Comparison & Self-Worth

They constantly measure themselves against others and feel they don’t measure up.

Fear of Making Mistakes

They’re afraid to get things wrong, melt down over errors, or give up easily when things don’t go to plan.

Lack of Motivation

They avoid tasks, procrastinate, or seem disconnected from goals or effort.

Anxiety & Worry

They feel overwhelmed, avoid new experiences, or have frequent “what if” thoughts.

Shyness & Social Anxiety

Social situations feel overwhelming, and they struggle to speak up or make friends.

Procrastination & Avoidance

They avoid difficult tasks or big goals because they fear failure or believe they’ll never succeed.

Feeling Overwhelmed

Life feels like “too much,” and they freeze up when facing challenges or change.

Academic Struggles

They feel like they’re not smart enough, get anxious around tests, or fear disappointing you.

Sibling Rivalry & Family Conflicts

Frequent tension with siblings or a belief that they’re less loved or valued.

Anger & Frustration

Outbursts or shutdowns become frequent when emotions get big or expectations aren’t met.

Setbacks, Disappointments & Failure

They take failure personally and struggle to bounce back emotionally.

Don’t see your child’s specific situation? That’s okay! These are just examples. Every child is unique, and I tailor my approach to what YOUR child needs most.
